Hillary joined the State Department and immediately asked IT how she could keep using her personal BlackBerry phone, and not use the secure government computer ... contradicting yet another false claim she made about her emails in the past.
The use of a personal device, and a personal server in one's home, would (illegally) avoid mandatory government responses to FOIA requests.
Judicial Watch’s president Tom Fitton explains :
“these documents show that Hillary Clinton knew her BlackBerry wasn't secure."
He continues:
"Then why did she use it to access classified information on her illicit email server?
The FBI and prosecutors ought to be very interested in these new materials.”
The idea that Clinton was ignorant about matters of cybersecurity and encryption is wrong.
She knew using a home server to send work related e-mail was a bad decision for national security, and didn't care.
