'The Joke Is Over, Too Much Is at Stake': Tucker Carlson Says It's Time to Invoke 25th Amendment Against Joe Biden

Source:

"Joe Biden’s “terrible, horrible, no good, very bad,” most recent episode began at the emergency NATO summit on Ukraine last Thursday and culminated with an absolutely disastrous White House press conference on Monday.

Enough is enough, declared Fox News host Tucker Carlson: It’s time to invoke the 25th Amendment, and get Joe Biden the hell out of the White House.

Let’s first do a quick recap:
    U.S. troops in Ukraine
U.S. use of chemical weapons against Russia
    Regime change in Russia

During a contentious exchange at Monday’s presser, Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy took it to Biden hard.

You told troops they are going to Ukraine,
the U.S. would use a chemical weapon,
and called for regime change in Russia.

Biden being Biden, he did his best to suspend disbelief:

    None of the three occurred.

That is still wow — somewhere in between the emperor’s new clothes and “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.”

By Monday night, it was literally go-time
for Tucker, as reported by Fox News.

During a segment on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the influential host declared it’s time to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Biden from office.

Not only for his increasingly dangerous missteps, but also because of other signs the addled president is no longer mentally fit to serve — including his growing tendency to snap at people who dare to question anything about him, what he does, or what he says.

Uncontrollable flashes of anger are common among people who are aging, particularly among men, and they often accompany senility.

Losing it is a very frustrating experience and your heart goes out to anyone who is.

We have deep sympathy for anyone in that position, including Joe Biden.

Tucker then revisited several of Biden’s greatest hits,
including along the 2020 presidential campaign trail:

    PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN CHASTISING REPORTER:
“No, I haven’t taken the test. Why the hell would I take a test? Come on, man. That’s like saying, you know, before he got in this program, you take a test where you’re taking cocaine or not. What do you think, huh? Are you a joke?”

PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN AT PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE:
“I’m not out of time. You spoke overtime and I’m going to talk. Here’s the deal. Here’s the deal. The fact of the matter is, look at what’s happening here.”

PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN SNAPS AT SAVANNAH GUTHRIE:
“Well, that’s not true. You’re saying things, you do not know what you’re talking about. No one said that. Who said that? Who said that?”

PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN TO MAN AT TOWN HALL:
“You said I set up my son to work in an auto company.
Isn’t that what you said? Get your words straight Jack.”

PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN EXCHANGE WITH PETER DOOCY: “That’s a great asset. More inflation. What a stupid son of a b**ch.”

As was the case with most of us,  and justifiably so, Carlson’s biggest concern was Biden’s clear call for regime change in Russia

— regardless of how Biden and the White House have since tried to spin the ever-loving crap out of exactly what he said.

Tucker deftly used Biden’s own words against him.

    The joke is over.
Too much is at stake.
If there ever was a time — if there was in U.S. history ever a time to invoke the 25th Amendment, it is now.

As Joe Biden himself put it, ‘For God’s sake,
this man cannot remain in power.’

Amen. Bring on Kamala.

We can fillet the hell out of her like never before
— for two years — to ensure a Republican
presidential win in 2024.

Observed Tucker:

Biden is leading the U.S. toward war, and so it’s fair to assess the effect on the rest of us of his mental and emotional conditions, not simply about age, Biden is 79.

Biden is clearly unable to speak with precision.

And when you’re president of the United States and the world hangs on your every word, when your words constitute American policy,

when you can change American policy, particularly America’s foreign policy simply by saying so,

it is essential that you speak the words you intend to speak, that you not get carried away because you’re mad and say something you don’t mean

that might threaten the long-term interests of this country, threaten the families and the children of the rest of us and our future, but he is

Carlson could not have been more spot-on.

I’m not fond of the overused “quiet part out loud” line, but calls for the invocation of the 25th Amendment against Biden,

the most inept president of the United States in at least modern history, ceased being “quiet” mere months into his disastrous presidency.

The reality:

Given the 25th Amendment requirement of a two-thirds vote of the House and a two-thirds vote of the Senate to remove a president from power, the likelihood of passage, if invoked, is currently zero.

Even assuming the Democrats get their asses handed to them in the House in the midterms and the Republicans retake control of the Senate, passage would remain unlikely.

The question is, how bad would it have to get before the Democrats finally accept reality?

Before they would finally place America ahead of themselves?

More ominously, would it be too late if and when they finally did?"
