Is anything worse than two rich men,
Paul Manifort and Michael Cohen,
being investigated ONLY
because they worked for Trump,
and then found to be evading taxes
they could easily afford to pay?
Yes.
An investigation
without evidence,
of Donald Trump,
for collusion
with Russians
is worse.
Collusion is NOT a crime,
not that Trump
would collude
with anyone --
he barely colluded
with the Republican Party
before the election,
and he was
SUPPOSED TO
collude with them !
And now
the Dimocrats
are claiming
Michael Cohen
was found guilty
of campaign
financing fraud
First of all, Cohen was
not FOUND GUILTY
of anything by a jury --
he pled guilty to charges
that included two campaign
finance claims, punishable
only by fines.
But the two campaign
finance charges
were nonsense --
paying "hush money"
(paying a person for signing
a non-disclosure agreement)
is not a crime
when you are repaid
by the candidate
from his personal account !
John Edwards faced
similar charges in court,
and the jury would not
convict him:

Collusion
could be a crime
if there was
a bribe paid
... but Donald Trump
was not bribed,
so there was no crime,
nor did Trump
collude with anyone !
Hush Money payments
could be a crime
punishable by a fine,
if:
(1)
Financed from Trump
campaign donations,
and then Trump
would be subject to a fine
... but the 2016 payments
were NOT funded by
Trump campaign donations!
(2)
Or if secretly paid by Cohen
from his own account
with no payback expected
done to influence the election.
then Cohen would be
subject to a fine,
but that fine would have
nothing to do
with Donald Trump !
The Dimocrats
are so anxious
to get Trump out of office,
they can't think straight,
assuming they could ever
think straight !
