Analysis of the first Justice Dept. Inspector General Report

more Inspector General reports
will be coming.

SUMMARY:
The Justice Department
Office of Inspector General's
Report has detailed findings
of political bias in the FBI
... that contrast sharply
with the Report's
unreasonably
mild conclusion
that no political bias
was found in documents,
and no one would admit
to political bias ...
but there is a lot of
obvious political bias
even if not documented,
or admitted by anyone!

The Bad News:
  Obama's FBI management had
strong pro-Democrat political bias,
that affected a justified
investigation of Hillary Clinton,
and unjustified investigation
of Donald Trump, both before
the 2016 election.

The Good News:
  Obama's FBI management
was so incompetent,
that while trying to help
Hillary Clinton win an election,
they inadvertently
helped her lose!

DETAILS:
The most explosive
new revelation
from the Report was:

The FBI's Peter Strzok
told girlfriend Lisa Page,
who was also in the FBI:

Page:
“(Trump’s) not ever going to
become president, right?  Right?!”

Strzok:
“No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it."

This Report reminds me
of James Comey's
"TV performance"
on July 5, 2016:

The head of the FBI
had arbitrarily decided
being an investigator
was not enough for him
-- he wanted to be
the prosecutor too!

The Report says that move
was "insubordination"
-- the Justice Department
is supposed to decide
whether or not to prosecute,
not the FBI.

James Comey
had arbitrarily decided
to go on TV for 15+ minutes
and tell Americans that
Hillary Clinton
committed every crime
Republicans claimed
plus a few more,
but there would be
no punishment at all !

 Note:
The obvious Hillary Clinton crimes were:
18 U.S.C. §§ 793(d) and (e)
(willful mishandling of documents
or information relating to
the national defense);

18 U.S.C. § 793(f)
(removal, loss, theft, abstraction,
or destruction of documents or information
relating to the national defense
through gross negligence,
or failure to report such removal,
loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction);

18 U.S.C. § 1924
(unauthorized removal and retention
of classified documents or material
by government employees); and

18 U.S.C. § 2071
(concealment, removal, or mutilation
of government records).

But never mind that !

The IG Report shows that
with James Comey's team,
the decision was made
to go easy on Hillary Clinton
at every opportunity
when there was a choice
between a tough, thorough
investigation, or a friendly,
superficial investigation.

For example, five people who
worked for Hillary Clinton received
immunity for nothing in return !

Immunity is usually granted
to compel witnesses to
to testify in front of a grand jury --
once they are made immune
from any prosecution,
they MUST answer all questions
and can NOT refuse to answer.

But the five immune witnesses
were never called
in front of a grand jury!

The Hillary Clinton email investigation,
was most likely improperly influenced
by political bias, and that is shown
in Report details ... but the Report
mysteriously concluded
there was no political bias !

The treatment of Hillary,
(who actually committed
many crimes),
who was supported by
the FBI top management,
was shown to be in sharp contrast
to the treatment of candidate
Donald Trump (who committed
no crimes), but he was hated
by the FBI top management.

It is almost impossible to blame the
contrasting investigations on
anything else besides political bias!

Two years later we are still waiting
for evidence of any crime
committed by Trump, or
employees of his campaign,
related to Russia or collusion.

Don't forget that Hillary removed
ALL her eMail communications from
the government computer system,
and stored them in several
different unprotected servers
over four years.

But never mind that !

And Hillary destroyed
at least 33,000 eMails
with BleachBit,
in response to
a subpoena from Congress,
and ordered her aides
to physically destroy
several cell phones,
which adds up to obvious
obstruction of justice,
and destruction of evidence!

But never mind that !

In fact, every step of the Hillary
Clinton "investigation" was
biased to go easy
on Hillary Clinton,
starting with Comey's decision
in late April 2016 to write
the first draft of his
"exoneration speech",
two months BEFORE
17 important FBI interviews
were conducted, including the
Hillary Clinton interview!

But never mind that !

It appears that FBI management
couldn't wait to exonerate Hillary,
and start a tough investigation
of the Trump campaign,
even though there was no evidence
that any crime had been committed.

The Report said
Peter Strzok texts
with FBI lawyer
and girlfriend Lisa Page
strongly suggested he
"might be willing"
to take official action
to impact Trump's
electoral prospects",
which was "clear bias"
against Trump.

But never mind that !

Other senior FBI officials,
not named in the Report,
showed a “willingness
to take official action”
to prevent Donald Trump
from becoming president.

I'd call this an FBI management
anti-Trump conspiracy.

The IG Report does not fault the FBI
for not charging Hillary Clinton,
but found that James Comey
used his personal email account
for official business, which was
"inconsistent with the DOJ
Policy Statement."

One thing I learned from the Report
was that the use of private computers
and smart phones for some government
business was a very common violation.

President Obama did it.

James Comey did it.

Hillary Clinton did it for ALL
  her government business,
and even had her own server!

(Q.)
What was Hillary being investigated for?

(A.)
Using personal email to conduct business!

Maybe James Comey
found nothing wrong
in what Hillary Clinton was doing
because he was doing it too !

But never mind that !

The five unnamed
FBI officials
who expressed
open hostility
toward Donald Trump,
before his election,
have been referred
for possible FBI
disciplinary action.

The report suggested
agent Peter Strzok
intentionally slow-walked
the review of emails connected
to the Clinton investigation
that were discovered
on Anthony Weiner's
laptop computer on
September 28, 2016
(found after the first
Hillary investigation
was closed).

Strzok told investigators
that at the time his top priority
was to investigate then-candidate
Donald Trump's campaign's ties
to Russia.

The IG Report didn't believe Strzok:
" ... we did not have confidence
that Strzok's decision to prioritize
the (Trump) Russia investigation
over following up on (Hillary eMails)
...  discovered on the Weiner laptop,
was free from bias."
(see Report page 274 and 275,
which is page 303 and 304
of the pdf file, for details)

The FBI's Peter Strzok
and Andy McCabe
tried to keep the Wiener eMails
hidden from the public.

My best guess is that
one or more FBI agents
had threatened to leak
to the public that the FBI
was sitting on
a huge number of "new"
Hillary Clinton eMails
for many weeks,
and those Emails
could incriminate Hillary.

We know that something
pulled the issue forward.

The result was
a second email probe
into Hillary Clinton,
opened only 11 days
before the election,
and closed a few days
before the election,
which may have
cost Hillary the election.
