How I interpret VAERS COVID vaccine side effect data = a very conservative estimate by Ye Editor

We get some data on COVID vaccine side effects in the US VAERS database.

Leftists would have us ignore the data, claiming they are not accurate.

If the data were good news, making the vaccines appear to be safe (as VAERS data do for every other US vaccine in the past 30 years), I believe leftists would be publicizing VAERS data every day !

The VAERS data from last Friday reflected
18,461 reported deaths and 29,104 reported permanent disabilities = 47, 569 total serious injuries / deaths reported.

We know from studies of VAERS that from 1% to 10% of all side effects are reported.  The 1% was from a 2010 Harvard study.  I'm going to be conservative and use the 10% number.

47, 569  x10  =  475,690

I will be EXTREMELY conservative and assume two-thirds of reported deaths and permanent disabilities reported can not be definitively  blamed on the vaccines -- meaning two thirds of the reports are wrong, which i find hard to believe, but will
arbitrarily include only one third of all reports:

475,690  x  0.33  =  156,978

My extremely conservative estimate is that 156,978 Americans were killed or permanently disabled by their COVID vaccines.

I will further reduce that number by claiming the correct number is "over 150,000".

"Over 150,000" is a disaster !
Over 100,00 would be a disaster too.

Anyone who disagrees with my estimate
is invited to provide his or her own
interpretation of the VAERS numbers.

We know the VAERS numbers significantly under count reality, but they should not be completely ignored.
