"Logs show Hunter Biden's business partner Eric Schwerin visited the White House twenty-seven times during the Obama-Biden era.
On Tuesday, Fox News reported that Hunter Biden's longtime business partner Eric Schwerin had visited the White House at least eight times in 2016, bringing his total number of visits during the Obama-Biden era to twenty-seven. During his visits, Schwerin met with a number of Biden staffers, as well as Biden himself in 2010.
Schwerin's visits to the White House, in addition to revelations regarding Hunter Biden's business dealings highlighted in the now infamous laptop scandal, have led many to ask for a full fledged investigation into the Biden family.
"It's increasingly obvious that Hunter Biden's business revolved around providing access to his father and the highest levers of power," Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), told the New York Post. "It reeks of pay-to-play."
He went on to suggest that the "clear solution is a Special Counsel investigation to fairly investigate the disturbing allegations of Biden family corruption."
The visitor logs detailing Schwerin's visits show that he met with then-Vice President Biden's chief of staff Steve Ricchetti numerous times, as well as VP assistant Anne Marie Person, who had previously worked at Schwerin and Hunter Biden's investment firm, Rosemont-Seneca.
As the Post reports, Schwerin also met with Evan Ryan, VP Biden’s assistant for intergovernmental affairs and public liaison, in 2009. An email in which Hunter was CC'd show Ryan being asked by a union director to nominate a union lawyer to the National Labor Relations Board. The email urged VP Biden to push Obama to act upon the union director's wishes, and not long after, the lawyer was appointed.
Schwerin's visits coincide with a number of significant events, including meetings between Hunter Biden and foreign businessmen, as well as official international trips taken by Joe Biden."
