"A staggering 99.7% of over-18s in Waterford have been vaccinated against Covid-19, making it the most vaccinated county in Munster.
Tipperary comes second, with 97.3% of adults having received both doses of the vaccine, while Limerick sits third in the province at 95.9%.
Both Clare and Cork are tied for fourth place, each county having 95% of the adult population immunised, while 92.8% of adults in Kerry have had both doses.
According to the latest available statistics, 91% of Irish adults over the age of 18 are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 – the highest total in the European Union.
A total of 93% of adults have had at least one vaccine dose, and among those aged 16 and over, 90.3% are now fully vaccinated.
Among those aged 12 and over, 90.4% have had one vaccine dose.

Waterford City South currently has the highest incidence rate of Covid-19 in Ireland, according to the latest figures.
The number of cases in the local electoral area between September 28th and October 11th was 281.
The incidence rate per 100,000 people in the area is currently 1,250 – three times the national average, and equating to almost 1 in 80 people in the area currently positive for the virus.
Waterford remains one of the worst affected counties in Ireland at present, as Tramore / Waterford City West has the fourth-highest incidence rate nationwide.
An incidence rate of 858.2 means that there have been 192 cases confirmed in the fortnight up to Monday.
Cases have risen by +57% compared to a week prior, while they’ve risen +46% in Waterford City South.
The sharpest rise in incidence has been in Waterford City East.
Cases are up +74% as 136 were confirmed, with the incidence rate of 591.6 one of four above the national average in the county.
The other area where the rate remains above the national average is the Dungarvan LEA.
However, the incidence of Covid has fallen in West Waterford when compared to last week.
Dungarvan is the only part of the county where the incidence of Covid has not risen in the past week.
116 cases were recorded in the most recent fortnight, compared to 139 a week prior – representing a fall-off of 16.5%.
The incidence rate has fallen from 678 to 556 – with the then national average at 394.2.
The rate in Portlaw-Kilmacthomas at present is slightly below that figure, at 385.5. Cases have risen 15% though from 57 to 66.
Lismore has also seen a 38% jump-up in positive case figures, from 21 to 29. However, the incidence rate in the area is significantly the lowest in Waterford at 270.4 per 100,000 people.
At the opposite end to Waterford City South, the lowest incidence rate in Ireland is in Belmullet in County Mayo at 103.2.
There were 18 people hospitalised with the virus at University Hospital Waterford as of 8pm on Thursday, one of whom is in intensive care.
The figure has not been that high since the 28th of March."
