Many factors could affect COVID death rates

There are many factors that should affect the COVID death rate.

It is impossible to determine exactly why the death rate has changed since 2020, including:

(1)

The most vulnerable people are already dead from COVID, and those who survived (over 99%) have natural antibodies

(2)

Variants are less deadly than original COVID

(3)

Vaccine induced antibodies fade quickly over time

(4)

Vaccine induced antibodies are not as effective with COVID variants

(5)

Seasonal trend, with much higher respiratory infections in cold weather, as people spend more time indoors, and get less vitamin D from the sun

(6)

Vaccinated people are likely to reduce social distancing, and increase traveling, assuming they are safe

(7)

Death count errors, whether intentional, or unintentional

(8)

Unknown factors affecting the death rate
