"The words I have most often seen repeated over the last month are, ‘It has all happened so fast!’
Of course, the ‘it’ that many are referring to is our descent into what appears to be the early days of our totalitarian future.
It infuriates me because in hindsight it’s obvious that it hasn’t happened fast;
it’s been happening for the last three decades and it’s so damned in-your-face that hindsight should not be required.
What infuriates me even more is the feigned surprise at the horrors we are living through, when if anything we should be viewing it as inevitable.
In his famous 1984 interview, which is surprisingly still available on YouTube, former KGB operative Yuri Bezmenov warns us of the four pillars of Communist subversion:
Destabilisation – tick
Dehumanisation – tick
Crisis – tick
Normalisation – tick
For years now it’s been normal to accept that six-year-olds are considered for treatment for gender dysphoria,
that we are homophobic if we don’t celebrate LGBTQ+,
that it’s okay to accept what happened to the so-called ‘groomed’ girls, presumably because they were of the wrong social class ...
Life went on as normal the day after every terrorist attack when a ‘Conservative’ Prime Minister appeared on the news calling it an ‘incident’ and reminding us to be mindful of Muslim sensibilities.
Now I’m not claiming to have all the answers.
I am aware that most folk simply want to work hard, raise a family, live in safety, enjoy an overseas holiday or two per year and swap their car for a newer one every three years.
It would be outrageous for me, or anyone else, to suggest we take to the streets with pitchforks every time the government does something that makes us apoplectic with rage,
but the truth is that there was something we could all have done,
either individually or as a collective that might have made a difference,
especially when it became apparent that those enforcing the new rules were screechy, infantile social justice warriors.
One simple yet effective measure would have been to laugh at them to their faces as suggested recently by numerous commenters on a popular article by the Free Speech Union, instead of behind closed doors.
Last Thursday and Friday I watched a ten-hour symposium hosted by UK Column News.
You can see some of it here Doctors for Covid Ethics Symposium – Session 1: The False Pandemic:

Among their many outstanding guests were Dr Mike Yeadon, Professor Sucharit Bhakdi, Catherine Austin Fitts and Reiner Fuellmich, but it was Vera Sharav, a Holocaust survivor and founder of the Alliance for Human Research Protection, who left the most lasting impression on me when she said this:
‘Please remember this.
At the end of the Holocaust many children were rescued by the allied forces, this time around there are no allied forces.’
There are still things we can do, even this late in the day.
Many of them take up less time than some of us spend on here squabbling with trolls.
The question is, in view of our collective venality and moral cowardice, will we do it?"
Our nation became a circus with Covid in 2020. The news media became the public relations firm of a government that decides what you don't need to know, and how to slant what you do need to know. Blog motto: "Is that true, or did you read it in the New York Times?" ... “Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly, and applying the wrong remedies.” ... "Why the surprise? They’ve been grooming us for 30 years"
