Rep. Adam "Shifty" Schiff (D-Calif.)
was widely reported as
describing Trump's actions
as a: “classic mafia shakedown
of a foreign leader.”
Nothing in the call transcript
supports that fake conclusion.
But "Shifty" Schiff
doesn't care
doesn't care
-- he just makes up
his own "alternate facts"
when the truth (transcript)
shows Trump did what any
good leader would have done
on his phone call.
MEDIA LIE #1
Shifty Schiff
and the mass media
claimed the "favor"
expected from Ukraine
was investigating
Joe Biden before the
2016 election.
THE TRUTH:
From the phone
call transcript:
President Zeleznsky
first brought up
buying more Javelin
missiles from the U.S..
President Trump then asked
for a favor, requesting additional
information about any Ukraine
meddling in the
2016 U.S. election,
something Democrats have
been very interested in for
almost three years!
Joe Biden had nothing to do
with the 2016 at election.
Biden's name came up later
in the conversation,
and in a different context.
MEDIA LIE #2
The media claimed
there was
a quid pro quo
deal with Ukraine.
THE TRUTH:
The call transcript
later clearly showed
Trump never threatened
to withhold anything
from Ukraine.
MEDIA LIE #3
The media have
repeatedly claimed
Trump applied pressure
on Ukraine President
Volodymyr Zelensky.
THE TRUTH:
Zelensky said
he felt no pressure.
" And I think and you read it
(in the transcript)
that nobody push it, pushed me.”
MEDIA LIE #4
The media claimed
Ukraine aid was held up.
THE TRUTH:
The Ukrainian delegation
hadn’t even been made aware
aid was held up until one month
after the Trump call.
MEDIA LIE #5
The mass media claims
the whistleblower
complaint is credible.
THE TRUTH:
Many details
in the complaint
have since
been shown
to be false
when compared
with the transcript.
The whistleblower admits
at the beginning of his complaint
that he never witnessed anything
first hand.
MEDIA LIE #6
The Washington Post
reported the director of
National Intelligence,
Joseph Maguire,
threatened to resign
if he weren’t allowed
to speak publicly
about the whistleblower
report.
THE TRUTH:
Maguire called the Post’s
report untrue,
while under oath,
during subsequent
congressional testimony.
MEDIA LIE #7
ABC News and Axios
both reported that
an adviser to the Ukraine
president said their
delegation was aware
in advance that
U.S. aid money
was being used
as leverage.
THE TRUTH:
ABC and Axios
later admitted
the source was not
any adviser to the
Ukraine president,
and issued updates.
The Ukraine president
claimed he did not know
the aid was delayed
until a month after
the phone call.
Trump claimed
the aid was delayed
because he was
trying to get
EU nations to take
responsibility
for part of it.
The aid was delivered
the same day
a Republican Congressman
told Trump the Ukraine
really needed the money,
without delay.
MEDIA LIE #8
The mass media
reported Rudy Giuliani
was Trump’s go-to guy.
THE TRUTH:
The media failed to mention
Giuliani first communicated
with his Ukrainian counterparts
more than one year before Biden
entered the 2020 presidential race.
Giuliani tried prove this point
by noting the State Department
was helping coordinate
his communications, and
he made several relevant
communications with State
available to the press.
Giuliani's role was similar
to the role Sidney Blumenthal
played when Hillary Clinton
was Secretary of State.
MEDIA LIE #9
Mass media speculators
complained the transcript
had been 'hidden' on
a very secure server
top keep it secret.
THE TRUTH:
Susan Rice,
Former National
Security Adviser
to President Obama,
said that the Obama
Administration moved
phone call transcripts
to the same server.
CNN, believe it or not,
eventually reported
the Trump Administration
has been placing ALL
foreign call transcripts
on this server, for over
a year, in the attempt
to stop their serious
problems with leaks.
